Two First Place Wins For Wulf Moon in Southeastern Writers’ Writing Contests

I made this announcement on Facebook today:

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬! The Southeastern Writers Association celebrated their FIFTY year anniversary at their conference last weekend (Go SWA!), and announced the winners of their annual writing contest last night. This year, they offered ten contest categories for entrants to submit their poetry, flash fiction, short stories, and novel chapters. I submitted stories to three categories and 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐰𝐨: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐦 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐅𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

Thank you, SWA and donors for the lovely certificates and cash prizes! Thank you, Dr. Amy R. Wethington, for being an excellent contest coordinator and ensuring the integrity of the annual contest through your blind judging process! And happy congratulations to all the winners for boldly submitting your creative works and being honored by this long-standing writers’ association and their distinguished judges! Cheers!
