I’m a bit behind with this announcement, but it’s too good to let it pass by. Superstars Writing Seminars is one of the most prestigious writing seminars in the country. Three weeks ago they announced their scholarship awardees for 2025. Four Wulf Pack Writers received scholarships to next year’s seminar!
These scholarships are highly prized and are not lightly given out. A scholarship committee reviews all the applications, writing samples, and letters of recommendation submitted by each applicant. Depending on the scholarship, they can include conference registration and workshop day, hotel accommodations, and some even provide a daily meal allowance–easily a $1,000 to $2,000 value to assist writers to attend. It’s quite a boost in helping writers, and the generous spirit of attendees and alumni makes this beautiful program happen!
This year, our Superstars Scholarship awardees from the Wulf Pack are:
Michelle Diaz
Jennifer Lesh Fleck
M Colin Alston
Wulf Moon
Let’s give Michelle, Jenn, and Colin a hearty round of applause!
And I’d like to give thanks to two people that wrote my beautiful letters of recommendation: Dr. Amy Wethington, past president of the Southeastern Writers Association; and Third Flatiron’s publisher and editor, Juli Rew. Thank you for taking the time and writing your wonderful recommendations that helped make this honor possible in my case.
GO WULF PACK!!!
