Sharing exciting news! I’ve been invited to be the keynote speaker and a faculty member at Southeastern Writers Association’s Conference next year! The 2025 Southeastern Writers Association Conference will take place on St. Simons Island, Georgia, from June 6 – 10, 2025.
This immersive 3-day conference joins aspiring and seasoned writers as they connect over their love of writing and literature. I know several on the board, have entered their contests for several years now, and I’ve viewed many positive comments and photos from this seminar and retreat. This truly is a writer family, and I am so happy to be welcomed in and look forward to building knowledge and friendships at this special event!
My deepest thanks to former SWA president Amy Wethington for asking me to submit a proposal, and to the SWA board for inviting me and covering all my expenses to attend. This is my first time teaching classes out East, and it’s their first time flying a speaker in from outside their region (I’m from the West Coast)! Come join us at this beautiful retreat and have fun learning with a writing association that’s 50 years strong! 💜

Do you live on the East Coast or in the South? I hope to see many of you there! I always share new writing strategies in my classes to help you get ahead. This idyllic retreat will be a fun way to learn and spend quality time together! Cheers! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
