Since the inception of the Mike Resnick Memorial Award in 2021, I’ve posted a challenge to our qualifying Super Secrets Workshop/Wulf Pack Writers to enter this prestigious new SF writer contest. The winner is announced each year at Dragon Con‘s awards ceremony, receiving a beautiful crystal trophy and a $250 cash award.
In 2021, Wulf Pack Writers Z.T. Bright and Christopher Henckel were selected as Finalists, and Z.T Bright won the Grand Prize (his winner was created from my KYD Exercise). In 2024, our Scott Sands also received the honor of Finalist. And in 2025, Tara McKee took up our Resnick Award Challenge and is now one of six Finalists awaiting results to be announced at Dragon Con this year.
