After I won Writers of the Future in 2018, I created a year-long annual workshop to help emerging writers learn common-sense story principles to help them craft winning stories. Since then, we’ve had at least twenty writers win prestigious writing contests like Writers of the Future, the Mike Resnick Memorial Award, the Story Unlikely contest, and more.
The vast majority were unpublished when they joined.
