Deep Magic magazine published the novelette in its Fall 2020 issue. Jeff Wheeler, a Wall Street Journal bestselling author and publisher of Deep Magic, shared his high opinion of the story, stating on Goodreads that he believed “Muzik Man” would be nominated for awards.
